You have the option to donate to the Alameda Food Bank, helping provide essential meals to those in need, or to The Foodbank Players, supporting free community theater that raises awareness and funds for hunger relief. The Foodbank Players encourages you to Donate to The Alameda Food Bank
For over 40 years the Alameda Food Bank has been providing nutritious food for those who need it most. Since the pandemic began we have seen a significant increase in the number of families who are food insecure, especially families with children, a trend we don't see changing any time soon. For very $1 you donate we can buy $7 worth of food to help those affected by a sudden job loss, a disability or any number of other life-changing reasons.
Donations to FBP will be processed through our fiscal sponsorship organization, West End Arts District
The Foodbank Players are eager to bring you a 4th year of theater for a great cause- supporting the Alameda Food Bank- but we need your help! We are announcing our Refill the Tank campaign to raise money to cover our production costs and would welcome your donations!
