Darrah Jones
Lady Macbeth
Darrah's experience of theatre began at Alameda Children's Musical Theater in 1998, where she performed in a handful of fun plays as a child. Now an adult, she works as a clinical social worker/psychotherapist. She is also a professional lifeguard for the City of Alameda and can be often found at Emma Hood or Encinal pools swimming with the Alameda Aquatic Masters team. Shows Darrah has been involved throughout life include King Lear, Picnic, The Laramie Project, The Spitfire Grill, and more.
Finally, Darrah has a passion for helping others in her community. Darrah began volunteering in middle school at the Alameda Food Bank. Throughout her years in Utah for college and grad school, Darrah used theater as a way to raise awareness and funding for local organizations providing services to women and families who experienced interpersonal violence. She is deeply grateful to have the opportunity to once again return to the stage with other passionate individuals in a way that brightens and benefits our shared community here on the island through collective artistic expression.
